How to Make Ice Cream Bombe

Today we will talk about how to make Bombe. It is a classic French dessert and an elegant end to a dinner. Ice cream and fruit bombes were very popular in Victorian times; the molds were often lined with cake or biscuits. This dessert is so much beautiful. Lets check the recipe below…

Ingredients:
sunflower oil, for greasing
500ml tub vanilla ice cream
140g fruitcake or leftover Christmas pudding
1 tsp mixed spice
6 tbsp dark rum
100g raisins

Steps:
1. Firstly you need to prepare the a pudding basin. Brush it with a little sunflower oil, then line with cling film.
2. Spoon the ice cream into a food processor. Crumble in the cake or pudding, add the mixed spice and 4 tbsp of the rum, and whizz together until nearly smooth.
3. Add the raisins and stir.
4. Scrape the ice cream mixture into the basin and smooth the top. Cover with cling film and freeze overnight until solid.

You can serve the pudding with caramel sauce or toffee sauce or chocolate sauce, it will be lovely. Have a great day…

Do you like ice cream? I’m sure most of us will love this smooth and sweet dessert. There are so much kind of ice cream, and this time we will talk about the texture, that if you can understand them further it will help you to enjoy them more. Well let’s talk about ICE CREAM…

1.       Hard Ice Cream

Hard ice cream has more hard texture than the other kind of ice cream because this ice cream is use some whole eggs. This ice cream is made with cream and/or milk, sugar, and may contain eggs, stabilizers and other flavouring ingredients such as vanilla, chocolate, fruit and many other add-ins. Maybe if sometimes you want ice cream that heavier in your mouth just eat this one.

2.       Soft Ice Cream

Soft ice cream usually served at the ice cream shop. This ice cream is more smooth because don’t use the eggs. To have a smooth texture you need a machine to keep the temperature of the ice cream when you put the ice cream to a bowl or a con. This ice cream made only with milk and/or cream, sugar, stabilizers and flavourings.

3.       Light Ice Cream

The texture of the ice cream is lighter because it use 25% lower fat milk. I think it will work for your diet if you worried about the fat. This ice cream also will treat your mouth better if you want such a really soft one. This ice cream made with  milk ingredients, sugar, stabilizers and other flavourings that contains at least 25% less milk fat than regular hard ice cream.

Wine is an alcoholic beverages made from fermented grapes without any addition of other ingredients. Different grapes will create different style of wine.Other than grape wine, there are also rice wine, pomegranate wine, apple wine, and elderberry wine.  Wine is a drink that's fermented for thousands of years. 

From archaeological records, the first wine was produced in the Neolithic period. While he earliest grape-based wine was known to be produced in Northern China, where Archaeologists discovered a 9000 years-old pottery jar. On 2003, an archaeological report was made indicating the possibility of wine was made with rice to produce the fermented liquid in the early China of seventh millennium. 

Wine today is used as a addition ingredient on various cuisine. Because of it's acidity, wine is a great to enrich the sweet and savory taste in a dish. Wine usually is used as a stock, braising or sauce.

How to Make Traditional Chinese Steamed Cake

Did you read our article before? About some Chinese symbolic foods?. Well this time I want to share about the cake that symbolized our hope to have a sweet life. That is steamed cake. This time we will talk about the traditional one that usually served in many Chinese festival. Here we go…

Ingredients:

140g flour
5 medium eggs
240g Sugar

Steps:
1. Dry the flour for an hour under the hot sun.
2. Beat the eggs and sugar with the mixer until become double volume, thick, and creamy mixture. To minimize the air bubbles, turn the mixer to the lower speed and beat the mixture for 2 minutes.
3. Pour the flour to the mixture. Slowly stir with the spatula until perfectly combine.
4. Pour the cake mixture into prepared 8” lined baking tin or bamboo steam tray, rest for 10mins.
5. Steam over high heat for about 40mins, and wait for 1min then only remove the cake.

Now you have your own traditional Chinese sponge cake. You can enjoy this sweet dessert with your family and have a sweet life. Have a great time…

Hi there everyone! Welcome back to Our Foods and Cuisine Blog, Today i'll be writing about Chinese Dumplings since my mothers making it often. Enjoy!

Jiaozi or Chinese Filled Dumplings are commonly eaten across Eastern, Central, Western, and Northern Asia. Jiaozi usually consist of ground meat and vegetable wrapped with thin dough sealing it by pressing together the open ends. Jiaozi has flatter features and are usually eaten with soy-vinegar sauce or hot-sour chili sauce. There are Three ways to cook Jiaozi: Boiled, Steamed, and Pan Fried. Jiaozi was told to be created by the man named Zhang Zhongjin in the Eastern Dynasty period. This dumplings are commonly eaten on Chinese New Year celebration and Year Round in the Northern Province.


Wonton

Wonton are made by filling pork meat or shrimp to a square thin dough made by flour, eggs, water and salt. And sealing it as we like. Wontons usually are served in clear soup or deep fried eaten with hot-sour sauce. The preparations and eating style are different for every country in China.

How to Make Rice Pudding

Well, in my place rice is one of the main food that we eat every day. we eat rice and vegetables, chicken, fish, and many more. But do you know that we can make a creamy pudding by rice? Check the recipe below…

Ingredients:
3/4 cup uncooked white rice
2 cups milk
1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2/3 cup golden raisins
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:
1. Firstly you need to beat the egg.
2. Pour the rice into boiling water. Reduce the heat to low, simmer for 20 minutes.
3. In the other place , combine 1 1/2 cups cooked rice, 1 1/2 cups milk, sugar and salt. Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy, 15 to 20 minutes.
4. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup milk, beaten egg, and raisins; cook 2 minutes more, stirring constantly.
5. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.

Now your creamy rice pudding are ready to enjoy. you can add cinnamon at the top of your rice pudding. This will be a great pudding to your family..

How to Make Muhallabia Pudding

Again we come with new pudding recipe. This pudding is use corn starch. Hopefully you can enjoy this pudding. This pudding has taste of Middle Eastern. The name is Muhallabia Pudding. Just check the recipe below…

Ingredients:
2 cups milk
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons corn starch (Maizena)
1 tablespoons orange blossom water

Steps:
1. Mix the milk, sugar, and corn starch until all the lumps are dissolved.
2. Boil the milk mixture in the medium heat. Stirring constantly.
3. When the milk mixture reaches a boiling point add the orange blossom water. Still cooking for 2-3 minutes.
4. Pour the mixture into the ramekins. Cooling down and refrigerate it until ready served.

If you want you can add some toppings like fruit, jam, nuts, or honey. Now your milky pudding is ready to serve.
