Crepe is basically a pancake. But it's thinner and and curled before served. Crepe comes from the word Crispa in Latin meaning Curled. Crepes are usually made from Wheat Flour or Buckwheat Flour. Crepe is made by pouring the pancake batter on to a flat surface pan, with slight butter on the pan, and spread it evenly with a special spatula. The consistency of the batter cannot be too thick or too Watery, and the pan cannot be too hot. There are 2 kinds of filling for the crepe, the savory one and the sweet one. The savory ones usually consist of meat, cheese, mushrooms, ham, and eggs. It usually served for dinner and lunch. While the sweet ones usually filled with various kinds of fruit, sugar, honey, jams, chocolate, and many more. It usually eaten for breakfast or dessert.

Traditionally in France, Crepe was served on February the 2nd known as Virgin Mary's Blessing Day. But now know as the National Crepe day. It is believed that, when you toss and could catch a crepe with a frying pan on your right hand while holding a golden coin in your right hand, in that year you will be rich.
