Hi there everyone! So, we're back with Popular Dessert Around The world, and this time, our destination is Brazil!! Enjoy!!
Brazil
Quindim is a Brazilian Dessert, with yellow color, shinny surface, and a custard consistency. The ingredients to make this baked dessert are coconut, sugar, egg yolks, and butter.
This Dessert was originally from Portuguese and was brought to Brazil by slaves on the 17th century.
Bolo De Rolo or roll cake in English, is another Brazilian desert that looks like a cake. The cake batter is made from flour, eggs, butter, and sugar (the typical cake batter ingredients), and the dough of the cake batter is coated and layered with melted guava. After baked, the outer cake of the Bolo De Rolo is coated with sugar. This dessert is the intangible heritage of Pernambuco.
That's all from me today, We'll see what country we'll be discussing next. Until Next time! Bye!!
