So today, i will show you how to make a bowl of Turkish Delight!

Ingredients:

    1. 8 leaves of Gelatine
    2. 500gr of Granulate Sugar
    3. a few drops of Rose water (as many as you like, but not too much)
    4. a few drops of Pink Food Coloring
    5. 2 tbs of Icing Sugar
    6. 1 tbs of Cornflour
    7. 18 cm Sandwich Tin

Steps:

   1. Pour 1/2 pint of water in to a pan and add the gelatine leaves (break them to half). Leave it to bloom, then set the pan on a low heat and stir gently until the gelatine melts. Add the Granulate Sugar and stir until it dissolve, then increase the heat and stir gently until the mixture boil. Reduce the heat, and let the mixture simmer for 20 minutes.

   2. After 20 minutes, remove the pan from the heat (don't forget to turn off the heat, don't want your house to burn down now right?) and add the Rose water and Pink Food Coloring. Stir until the color turn Pale Pink. Wet the Sandwich Tin with cold water, the pour our Turkish Delight mixture to the Tin. Leave it in a cool place with cover, and let it set overnight.

   3. Mix the Icing sugar and Cornflour into a big plate or a board. Ease the Turkish Delight, that have been set overnight, out of the Tin and into the icing sugar mix, cut the Turkish delight into how ever you want (but usually it's a square) then cover the whole part with the icing sugar mixture.

   4. Store in a card box layered with a baking parchment, dust it with a little bit of icing sugar, and keep it in a cool dry place (not the fridge).

And there you have it! Your home-made Turkish Delight. It can be saved up to 1 week, but it's not suitable for freezing... You don't want to eat a hard Turkish Delight now do you? And some tips from me, while eating your Turkish Delight, drink a cup of tea, milk tea, or milk. It is going to be perfect. Especially on cold weather.

So, That's all from me guys, let us know what food do you want us to talk about next in the comment section. I hope this recipe works for all the Narnia fans out there, or four you guys who simply have a sweet tooth an craving for something to chew. Until next time guys! Bye!
